The Agency cements relationship with K Squared

2021 is still young, but it's already proving to be a big year, with The Agency and short-term rental company, K Squared, announcing plans to partner in the Cape Town short-term and long-term rental market.
The team of Kelly Wells and Karina Esterhuizen, who make up K Squared, will be bringing their impressive skills to the table, as the two companies unite.
Both Kelly and Karina have long, diverse careers, that together have spanned across fashion, advertising and marketing and retail. But it was in the property rentals market that the duo really found their passion, together forming K Squared.
"Susan Huxter, a client of The Agency and long-time hotelier and co-founder of Cartology Travel, took me under her wing, which is how I met the team," says Kelly Wells. "Susan encouraged me to start my own business in luxury rentals, which Karina, a long-time friend joined, and so K Squared was born."
Over the past two years, K Squared and The Agency have worked with many of the same clients, The Agency in sales and K Squared in rentals, making the decision to further cement their relationship an obvious choice.
"We have been searching for a world class rental team for a number of months and we finally found the right team in Kelly and Karina," says Kyle Leigh of The Agency.
"We are super excited to have Kelly and Karina on board, they have managed their own rental company for a number of years and it's been incredibly successful in the Waterfront Marina and De Waterkant areas.
As with many things, the Covid-19 pandemic lit the fuse on the decision to partner together, with the relationship being considered with a long-term future in mind, says Leigh.
"We are, of course, very happy to have them looking after The Agency's rental division on the Atlantic Seaboard and both of them bring different strengths to the table - Karina is very strong operationally, while Kelly is very much the client-facing partner and deals with clients first-hand. Together they form a dynamic duo and we are very confident they will bring their world class skills to the table to help us all grow stronger together."
It is an exciting partnership for both The Agency and K Squared, with Karina admitting that there was only ever one choice when considering an agency to collaborate with.
"When considering working with another agency, The Agency was the only choice for us. We already have a fantastic working relationship with the team, love their ethos, and we are both looking forward to growing into something bigger and brighter alongside them."
