AGENT SPOTLIGHTS
KYLE
Kyle, the proud owner and co-founder of The Agency, is thrilled with what the company has accomplished since opening its doors in 2018, and he is particularly proud of the achievements made last year. "I'm super proud of last year as a whole. 2023 was our best year yet and we continue to grow from strength to strength. Memorably, we launched Mauritius which is a wonderful addition to our stable and vision of The Agency."
When asked what makes the Agency stand out in the industry, Kyle said, "We've built an incredible brand over the last five years, and it all started with listening to our clients. Estate agents have historically garnered an unfavourable reputation and while there are certainly some agents who don't do the industry any favours, we're doing our best to change that narrative by being the company we are. We want to be trusted advisors to our clients and much like people have a family doctor or attorney that they can trust for much of their life, we want to be Trusted Property Advisors to our clients for life."
What motivates Kyle and is his favourite part of working in the real estate industry? "I get to work with the best real estate agent in Cape Town every single day. That would be my wife, Simony Santos! It is truly inspirational and awe-inspiring watching her do what she loves and I get to experience that every single day."

SIMONY
Simony, who as co-founder of The Agency is celebrating her most successful year to date, got her start in the industry 17 years ago as her mother-in-law's assistant. She fell in love with, "the idea of helping people find a home that would create so many memories". After years of honing her craft, it is this aspect of her career that still brings her the most joy - "the rewarding feeling of helping your clients find their dream homes, seeing their joy and being part of such an important decision."
Looking back at 2023, Simony considers her proudest achievement as being, "getting my beautiful husband Kyle back into sales with me. Together we form a dream team".
Having found her own home in Cape Town, Simony has grown to love the city and enjoys early morning walks on the promenade and dining at The Duchess, Sotano and Manos, to name a few.
JANE
Jane, who joined The Agency in January 2022 has been a constant source of fun-loving, personable energy that brings a fresh energy to our team.
Jane prides herself on her knack for people, a skill she has nurtured and developed through her career in PR and sales. Her rule of thumb, "never judge a book by its cover". Jane goes above and beyond to develop personal connections with her clients, which in turn supports her in securing them their dream properties, whether it's lucrative property investments, or her clients' forever homes.
When looking at the progression of her career so far, Jane says, "There have been so many highlights and relationships forged for a lifetime through my years in the property industry which I am eternally thankful for - blessed!!"
Anyone who knows Jane knows she's obsessed with her rescue pups, Pablo and Panda. She loves horses, hosting dinners and parties at her Green Point home and dining out at one of her favourite restaurants, the Cattle Baron.
KARINA
Karina, our fiery full status property practitioner will be celebrating three years at The Agency in February 2024. Karina prides herself on her dedication to learning and growing to build connections and trust with her clients.
Karina loves, "the boutique aspect of it and the fact that I am part of a loving supportive family but still feel like an independent entrepreneur who has the best support".
When it comes to building and maintaining relationships with her clients, Karina says, "I build rapport and trust by being myself and being honest every step of the way. No BS".
As for what's to come, Karina is focused on further establishing herself in her industry, building her network and increasing her sole mandates this year.
Karina's favourite area in Cape Town is Rosebank, where she found her own forever home and community. When Karina isn't providing her clients with the best service, you'll find her with her family, on the mountain or at the beach, or eating out for dinner at one of her favourite restaurants. Her recommendations: La Taqueria, Maria's and Cousins.
ELLE
And last, but certainly not least, our lovely Elle, who joined The Agency four years ago. Elle has an incredible career that started in interior design and ultimately led her into real estate.
Elle is dedicated to being the best, and prides herself on her devotion to her craft and clients. "I have immersed myself in small sectional title knowledge, rules, processes, and regulations, affording my sellers who are forming small sections of larger ervens the precise knowledge needed from the initial deciding time to guidance throughout the process".
Elle's favourite parts of the industry are the people and human experiences. Having been at The Agency for four years, Elle loves that we are, "totally unique in our outlook, a caring and supportive team who think out of the box and are always striving to be more unique and committed to clients".
When she's not working, you'll find Elle painting, hiking in the mountains while listening to her favourite song, Bless the Rains Down in Africa, and enjoying a meal at one of her favourite spots; Cellars Hohenhort in Constantia.
