The Cape Town City Centre has undergone a remarkable turnaround over the past decade, with a large number of young professionals moving back into the city's residential areas. The Central City Improvement District (CCID) has done an incredible job since taking on the unenviable task of cleaning up the CBD, with crime down 90% - a rare feat in any global city!
With most urban home-buyers opting for property in the city centre due to the close proximity to work, there is also a tangible vibe in the Mother City CBD. Shopping

Hospitals
Both the Cape Town Mediclinic and Christian Barnard Hospital are located in the Cape Town City Centre.
